This is a professional level course focusing on comprehensive knowledge of drawing interpretation. Topics include, types of drawings, interpreting structural drawings, types of pipe drawings, views, and drawing information, and more.

This course is suitable for anyone looking to gain intermediate knowledge in welding, metal fabrication, or quality assurance as either a welding practitioner, engineer, metallurgist, or someone simply looking for more knowledge on the topic.

Successful completion of DINT-301 meets the requirement of partial credit given towards the Level 1 welding inspector program. Learners wanting to stack this micro credential to complete the Level 1 welding inspector program must also complete all 11 designated micro credentials found in the attached L1 pathways document.

Mode of Delivery

This is an online self-directed course. Upon successful completion of all online lessons and achieving 70% or above on the course quiz, learners will receive a course completion certification with 8 PDH's.

Powered by D2L's Brightspace Learning Management System, upon enrollment learners will have 90-day access to complete all online lessons, and access digital books, exams, and course material.

Classroom Course Cancellation Policy
The course cost, less a 25% enrollment charge per person, will be refunded if cancellation is made in writing no less than 5 working days before the course. There will be no refund for cancellation after that date. The CWB has the right to cancel the program 10 working days prior to the date of the course. Full refunds will be made to registered participants if the CWB cancels the program. Participants are eligible for one course transfer as long as notice is given no less than 5 working days before the original course date.
