Progressive Repair Planning Program

Course Overview

The Canadian Collision Repair Academy has recognized that repair planning skills are evolving with the introduction of new construction materials and designs related to occupant safety, lightweighting, ADAS systems and BEV’s. The learning content of this instructor led program aims at accessing, researching, and implementing complete repair guidelines following OEM Repair manuals and industry resource information to successfully collaborate with the payer, the mandatory steps addressing the requirements of these changing construction technologies to return vehicles to their pre-collision structural integrity, fit and finish and ensure that the collision management and safety systems function as designed.

The Progressive Repair Planning Program combines industry overviews with effective methods of customer communications along with collision repair knowledge skills, perfecting the process of repair planning required in the industry to meet the needs of various stakeholders such as consumers, business owners, insurance providers, and collision repair technicians.

The training is geared to the repair planners, estimators along with insurance personnelthat are proficient with the current estimating software and can also be beneficial to front office staff and technicians alike. Completion of a pre-class task will be required before attending the class.

*Future generations of the Repair Planning programs will be geared to access, identify and implement OEM specific vehicle repair guidelines for a safe and appropriate repair.

Course material will be handed out during the course and a certificate of successful completion will be presented upon completion of the course.Ìý Light lunches will be provided by CWB.

Classes will run 8:30am – 4:30pm.
