Visual welding inspectors play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of welded components. Íâ¹úÃÀŮɫÇéƬ confirms that your knowledge and experience have been verified against the requirements of CSA W178.2.
NDT Inspectors
Being certified as an NDT inspector means that your non-destructive testing methods are third-party verified against the requirements of CAN/CGSB-48.9712.
Welder Qualification
In Canada, if you are performing welding on certain products, buildings, and structures, and their components, you must be qualified by the CWB and working for CWB-certified company. Welder qualification means you have met the testing requirements of the applicable standard.

CSA W48Â outlines the requirements for the certification of welding electrodes and consumables by themselves or in conjunction with gas mixtures or fluxes as applicable.
